So no shocks this weekend The welder was out of gas when we got there and no where is open on the weekends... I designed and built the towers out of cardboard and then drew them up on the steel plate and Konsta cut them out though!



Also Mark and Monte aren't going to be the only ones rolling on 35's.





I have a shit load of trimming to do though...

 

This island has different safety check standards, my truck won't pass. and it won't fit in the parking garages haha


I can sell mine for 15-18k with the hilarious market for tacos....

Yep. They are Konsta's. He had some things come up and can't make Moab now so I picked up his MTR's off of him and he is going to use that money to start on his SAS pretty soon!

His wheels have 3.5" BS. We test fit them and they were pretty close. Took the grinder to the calipers and shaved off maybe an 1/8" and they fit great!

I have to pretty much hack my fenders to nothing though to maintain my travel...

From the photos they look like they have less then 3.75..mine were that too but with the spacers..yous looks like it's in the 3-2.5" area..

 

I wouldn't do it. Where can't you get that a bike can't take you. It's a freaking island..haha

 

Also monte. Just FYI, I asked Silas and in his opinion I would have been able to fit the toyos, but it doesent matter. I do like the grabbers more, hard to beat 90% tread on a 35" mt

I would have to do more than just trim the firewall. I may not have to trim it as much as you guys but my 33's already hit the very tops of fenderwells... I'm going to have to relocate my battery and fuse box and all that and just cut all that sheet metal out to clear the 35's... Plus the stick out a good 2" past my flares so I will have to remove my flares and then cut a good 6" out of my fenders...


And that is why I didn't actually buy Konsta's tires and he better still be coming to Moab!! haha. Konsta and I were bored waiting for his friend to show up so we decided to fuck with Mark

They would have drove just fine on the hwy. I'm not worried with my 4.88's. I threw it up on the front and it wouldn't clear the caliper. It was close but no way in fucking hell am I grinding my calipers unless Brant came up with some old ones for free to experiment on.
