    This

Your truck is pretty new, you won't lose much $$ trading it on a 4x4, and your truck will be much more capable, and worth more.

what year is it? if its a newer one like 08 to 14 i would first install a limited slip or locking differential. as far as off-road goes if you want to keep it good and highway drivable and keep close to stock tires another thing i have done sometimes in bad mud and clay is use the heavy duty off-road made tire chains, with them you can get through about anyting a 4wd will, (on flat ground) only stops when frame hits ground pretty much.

if you like good audio, toss the stock radio setup and put aftermarket headunit/NAV, pull out the backs of the rear seats, get a grinder cutout all that crap behind the rear seats and build an in place built speaker box, i suggest kicker 10" dual voice coil solabaric 2ohm, (you know the square ones) they need little air space, then remove the bottoms of the back seats and grind all the brap flat under there then you can put a fewbig amps and a big cap for voltage swings.

also open the headlight assemblies and remove the stupid cover in front the lightbulbs and install TRUE DUAL HID bulbs, itmakes a world of difference!

it mostly depends on what you do everyday, i builtmine for emergency response, run at high speeds for long periods, be able to go through harsh conditions off-road when needed while at same time keeping close to stock tire size, have extremely good lighting, be able to drive at night with no lightson at all, have goodvideo for tv and awsome sound system for audio because sometimes i needed to be able to live in it at times :)

oh ya, also the countermeasures to stay invisibale to those piece's of SH*T aka p0l1ce officers who try to write tickets on the interstate. escort 9500ix, couple sets of jammers, escort live system to tellyou where the pigs are you goodto go! there is nothing lower, not even pond scum, than a p0l1ce officer who writes a speeding ticket to a driver who has more safety equipment than they themself do, (i monitor a huge range of frequencies, monitor location of police vehicles in real time, always know all details ofall vehicles aroundme) is also responding to a national disaster and is driving responcibly, who gives a crap about speed if you are the safest and most skilled driver on the road!

best bet i guess is to check out all the pics from peoples builds, see what you like, they got some unbelievable trucks members have built here!

    cheers,
    disco
