I'm listening to my police scanner as usual and normally it's really quiet. Now it's nonstop action. I'm not sure if it has to do with all the weed. Lol

People did smoke weed before they could buy it in a store.

 

I know. But now more people are doing it and some are going overboard. I've been hearing about some people getting too high on the weed and needing help while listening.

Yes.

First people were illegally smoking weed, then the medical thing came out and people swindled their way into medical cards, now its legal, people don't have do anything to get it except go to the store.

One guy who runs a talk show was like, I have never bought or smoked weed in my life, now, I'm standing in front of a recreational marijuana store and about to buy weed for the first time in my life.

Yes, because its legal more people are buying it...maybe not smoking, but for sure buying. It's the newest novel thing to do.

Just watched Lone Survivor. That's the first movie that's ever made me cry.

 

No way. Not buying it. You either smoke pot or you don't & laws aren't going to prevent those who smoke it from smoking it just like removing laws aren't going to make those who don't start to smoke. You're going to have a very small % that will try it just to see but we're not talking a gigantic swell in burnouts simply because it's legal. The laws didn't have any effect which is why they're being overturned & overturning them will have an equal effect in the other direction too. If the laws were effective in preventing people from smoking they'd still be laws.

 

Well talk more tomorrow about this. I'm standing firm in my stance that there are many people buying it now because they can, without medical cards or other inhibitions.
