NO NO NO NO NO NO STOP NOW! THAT CRAP IS HALOGEN LIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YOU NEED TO GET REAL!!!!!!!!!!!!! DUAL HID REPLACEMENT BULBS, THEY COME WITH 4 BALLAST. IF YOU SEE ANY BULLSHIT ADS SAYING LIKE 6000K, 8000K I EVEN SEEN 12000K BULBS IT IS CHEAP CHIESE BS AND IS A SCAM!

I MADE POSTS ABOUT HID'S BEFORE HERE, ANYTHINGABOVE 6000K (REAL 6000K) WILL START TO BE BLUISH AND STARTS TO BEIN THE ULTRAVIOLENT RANGE THEREFORE YOU CAN NOT SEE IT HINCE YOU CAN NOT SEE CRAP WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IF YOU HAVE A SHOW TRUCK YOU NEVER DRIVE THEN KOOL GETSOME REAL 6000K OR EVEN DEEP PURPLE WHITE ULTRAVIOLENT 8000K, BUT IF YOU DRIVE THE TRUCK SPEND THEMONEY, BUT REAL HID LIGHTS, BUT DUAL HID'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BUY 55 WATT (HAVE TO ORDER USUALLY FROM EUROPE) BALLASTS, YOU WILL NEED 4 OF THEM! PREPARE TO SPEND A LITTLE MONEY, THE $90 EBAY DEALS AINT GONNACUT IT IF YOU WANT REAL HI AND LOW BEAMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IF YOU WANT LIGHT TO SEE STUFF AS YOU DRIVE YOU WANT BULBS BETWEEN 4600K AND 5600K THOSE WILL PROVIDE THE BRIGHTEST AMOUNT OF LIGHT! 4600 WILL CAST THE BEGINNING OF YELLOWISH HALOGEN ALMOST LOOKING BRIGHT LIGHT, AT ABOUT 5400K-5500K (I MEAN REAL ONES) WILL PRODUCE 100% WHITE LIGHT! STARTING AT 5600K YOU LOOSE A LITTLE ACTUAL VISIBLE LIGHT AND START WITH THE BLUE/PURPLE COLOR LIGHT

sorry for the 'yelling', its not directed at the forum members, just gets a little aggrevaiting sometimes how these people who sell HID's try to rip people off! i have posted some pics of the real true white light hid's that are true real dual hi and low beam hid's, check them out before you buy anything.

i have tried realistically 50 different sets of HID bulbs and ballast between all the vehicles i have had, trust ne i seen it all!

good news is they are alot cheaper than they used to be, when i got them couple years ago it was $200 per bulb, then needed to buy 4 ballast on top of that, now they like 1/3 that price, maybeeven less :(

    cheers,
    disco

You realize those covers are there for a reason right? It's designed to focus the beam of the halogen bulb.

It's the part of why putting an HID bulb in that housing will spread the light so bad.

And seriously man turn caps lock off. If you actually read the entire thread every point you screamed about was already addressed.

    Calm down. Take a breath.

Good, taking off your shield is a bad idea and I don't even know what he was talking about when he was saying 4 ballasts when you only need two unless you are running hid fog lights . Also, 55w has the potential to melt your headlight lens.
