I used to smoke weed everyday of my life. I haven't smoked in 7 years now.

I'm thrilled it's legalized in Colorado and that it is being treat (almost) like alcohol now.

However I have no intention of purchasing any.

I ran to Walmart two rotations ago 3 times for MMJ relates calls. One guy was so high he thought he slipped and fell in Walmart. They looke at the cameras and he walked in the door and sat on a bench, then called 911 on himself because he thought he fell. He didn't even know how he got there and when I asked if he's done any drugs or smoked anything he said no at first. Then he stated he smoked a lot of weed. It was funny because he was really high and had no idea what was going on.

Case and point, now that it is legal it will have people tryin it now that's it's legal. Nothing wrong with that.

Went really smooth, thanks Chris! And thanks for the first pics testing them out Sean. I'm loving it already, though I'm a little self conscious about that leaf pack. I'll just add that to the list. :D

Lift looks good. There have been many of taco lifts put on in Chris's garage. :) Even though Chris smells funny he does good work. :spy:

If you look at the 4th pic you will see that you need sliders more than a set of rear leaf springs. Just sayn :D

While I agree that you will most likely not see a huge swell of new, long term users, I fully expect to see an initial blow up in the first few months here while it is a "novel" item. Something similar to turning 21, getting your new license, and going to the bars legally for the first time. I don't know about you but for me that "newness" lasted about 6 months. Then my body said FU and I backed off the binge drinking.

I think the stats from Aaron, Dev, and Lauren's boring Friday night :D are already proving it true. Not to mention a few chosen comments on this thread recently. :) Personally I have witnessed an increase in lane drifting recently. Is that due to MMJ.. who knows, but it seems like a lot more people are fucking around while they drive and NOT paying attention. And yes it could be completely unrelated but hey now we can blame everything on... MMJ.

And don't forget with today's game the Denver Bronco's will be filling Sport Authority Field with Pot Smoke to insure a win over the Chargers. ;)

Lmao!! I'm going to blame everything on the weed now just for general purpose. :)

Looks awesome David. I love my LR UCA's. They have been great and make NO noise like a uniball. I think mine are due for grease repack now and I need to get that done before spring.
Sliders for sure. Don't worry about rear packs until you start adding weight to the bed. Those springs handle the empty bed weight well.

Lol... That's the dangerous part. I think a lot of people that were on the edge about trying it but held back before will get some now, and potentially over do it, just like college kids getting their first access to alcohol. Same thing though, you'll have some incidents and hopefully people will learn from their own, and other's experiences.

I'm used to guys being out of it more for this reason myself. Watched the whole thing the other day, this is the best part!

Yeah like I said it does not bother me. I knew a lot people would at least try it after t beig legal. I don't live in a fantasy world so I knew the initial influx of calls would happen. The good part is not one of them was combative. Just happy go lucky and lost, I mean if you are goig to be high and lost Walmart would be a good place! :)

Uhhh hash browns. My brother is part of the cadre right now he said that shit happens all the time.

Guys/Gals...Looking for some info on Colorado. My wife and I are seriously contemplating the idea of moving there with in the next year or so. We took a trip there to Estes Park and fell in love with it. So im curious. I know cost of living is a little higher but how is the job market? I am currently active duty air force stationed in Ks. I do aircraft hydraulics and my wife is a registered nurse. Before military I was a welder/fabricator and also did plumbing. Ideally we'd want to be close to mountains and not in Denver. We were checking out Boulder and Co Springs. Where else would be good? Anyone know of good jobs where my skills could transfer there? Also any one who has recently been in the same situation as us Id like to hear from. Id appreciate it.

What kind of nurse? Certification wise, tons of hospitals out this way and I've worked at a lot. Could help direct where your wife could potentially get a good job. I personally don't like co springs (because I grew up there) or boulder for my own reasons. I lived in Denver and it was good, but have since moved to northern colorado area. Johnstown, Loveland, Ft. Collins. I like the golden area as well.

It's been almost 2 years since I blew my hand apart, had my back operated on and for some reason sold the Taco (wasn't the weed maybe the morphine). After lifting Sean's Tundy I was in pain for about a week. After yesterday I feel good, still had some challenges with my hand but got it all done. That said I'm pretty confidant that I will be able to get stuff done when you guys need it. Thank you all for your support some more than others ( you guys know who you are). I still have all my tools, welder and access to a plasma cutter and thinking about buying a real spring compressor. Hopefully I will gut the FJ going soon and do some wheeling this year!
