Wasatch Cruisers - Annual Snow run 2014

Had a club run in the snow today. Was a lot of fun with about 17 Toyotas in the group. We had Tacomas and FJ40s, FJ55s, FZJ80s, UZJ100s, 4Runners, FJ60s. We went up Skyline Drive above Bountiful, Utah. In the summer its just a fire road. In the winter time is presents some challenges. I was a little disappointed because we've done this same road in years past but it's been 5-6 years since we've been on it. Since the last time we did this as a club they have put a gate across the road about halfway up so we weren't able to see how close to the top we could get.

Oh well it was a good time. There were a few Tacomaworld peeps in attendance.

Sweet! Any issues with the chains slappin on shit?

 

No issues until I broke a link. The connecting link for one of the cross tread sections broke at one point. I got stuck badly and dug down to the dirt (which was frozen) and when the chain hooked up on the dirt it broke.

I just ziptied the loose section to another section and kept rolling.

 

Cool, that looks like a lot of fun wheelin with chains. Was everyone rockin them?

 

No just 3 or 4 of the 17 trucks

 

I have a 2012 and I just got an ARB.

I don't really want to hack a good color matched bumper.

Just wanted to see if anyone with a super white 12-13 that has the black front bumper would want to trade it along with a little cash for the color matched one?

love seeing the old cruisers coming out to play...lots of great looking rigs there
