I did mine in plasti dip but I don't think I cleaned my lights very well because one of them peeled off the next day by the time I got to work

 

You and me both. I need a 17 inch spare. I may just get a wheelers steelie. Also, considering going to this Used wheel place that Jim suggested a while back. I think it was here off OBT somewhere. May do that also.

I did my daughter's back in August, cleaned the lights good & it's still holding on.

 

Yeah all I did was wipe mine down it was kind of a spur of the moment how would this look kind of thing

 

I was doing the center of the front bumper between the upper & lower grills to blend them together & the eyelids were a spur of the moment thing for us too & she liked it so I left it on there.

 

I need to seriously get my lenses cleared up

looks good might do mine with the fog bulbs. I use mine for hooking up the trailer at night.. think ill put a 15 amp. in line so I will not cook the plastic .

ya I saw some at Advanced auto, does it come with a buffer thing that goes onto a drill? Mothers had a bunch of different things there and that was the only lens cleaner they had

 

Yeah the one I got came with the powerball

 

Once everything settles I'm thinking around 6.5-7". Hopefully not higher than that.

I just used the Turtle wax lens cleaner I bought about 2 weeks ago and they got cleared up a bit, but I should have cleaned the inside of the lenses last night when I had the headlights open...oh well, Ill just run this way until I get my new projector headlights I want

Looks nice. Although, personally, I don't think I would have done the trim pieces between the bumper and the headlights. Everything would have blended together better if they were still silver. Now you have a random hard square line where your fenders meet the front of the truck. Looks kinda out of place. Other than that, great job.

 

thanks man, I got the idea from somebodies build, cant remember whos for the life of me though, they had the lower pieces black and the top edge of the hood painted black, it flowed really nicely, I just need the eyelids now to finish it up, they are plasti-derpd lol (plasti dip is awesome ), so if later on down the road I dont like it, I can just peel the paint off
