It was worth a few laughs none the less. The steering wheel seems tight, it's just the truck itself wavering all around the lane. I am going to try an alignment. To other poster: I have driven trucks before, I used to deliver solvents and chemicals all over with a big 5 ton body job, so I know the wind is a factor, but it shouldn't be that bad.

They have very sensitive steering mine is the same way has not changed a bit in 45K miles it's just the way it is you'll get used to it. My old 97 was a lot more forgiving.

Roads are always worse around here in the winter. When the temp gets below freezing, the roads will become uneven from the water freezing and pushing up on the asphalt. My truck gets pulled around from the concave in highway.

    It wandered.

I did notice when I got mine the rear end would hop all over, especially on grooved concrete. Once the shell went on that settled it down, same as every truck I've owned.

I notice that the truck has rack and pinion steering, that is different from most trucks, and the precision of it means once you point in a line it stays in that line.

Report back with alignment numbers please, I'm curious if that's your issue. Report before and after #'s, they should give you a print out. Also, tell them you want 0° camber, 0° toe and 2.8° caster and you'll be gravy.

Might want to go to some place (like Firestone) that offers lifetime alignment packages. A little more expensive, but worth it

Didn't know they gave you numbers. I will let you know. It came from the factory and I didn't even give them time to put dealership decals or do an inspection on it. So maybe that's what's going on.

I don't know where you are in Alberta, but most of the Winter in Calgary has been snow covered roads. Ditch the Dunflops, they are not helping you.
