    I have thought about raising the roof on my garage and adding a lift. The lift is pretty inexpensive. Raising the roof is not.

    Exactly. If I raise the roof, Cindy would expect the added space to become a new walk in closet (Our bedroom wall backs to the garage attic).

    I might be able to get a 2 car at the end of the driveway. As we are on a hill, I would see about making the space under the garage floor storage with access from behind. It is doable, but $$$.

    He built it. I was just a helping hand to guide him. Once we had the bridge laid out on graph paper to size I covered the graph paper with saran wrap and let him go to town with the glue and spaghetti.


    Simple construction really, build all the straight lines and them glue them together using the graph paper as a template.

    I've been living the same for a while lol. I don't have a house here I would want to put a lift in. And my KS house won't be my forever house.

    Guess I'll have to build that in when I retire and move to Bellingham
