    thats what happens when a player hits a big hockey market like Calgary or others, where everything is scrutinized and the player seems worse then he actually is because of the media crap they put up with. Hudler is have one of his best if not his best seasons ever and in him prime. Should be a top 6 really on that team

    It is true that the team isnt that good, but there is an inconsistent effort on the ice. The failures are not the coaches fault imo. There are a couple of ovrrpaid, underpermorming "leaders" on the team.

    Yes. Byfuglien's high risk, high reward play leans too greatly to towards the former. He isn't a leader and yet is paid and treated like one. He won the cup in Chicago as a role player because that is what he is. I understand Toews was good at reminding him of this. Apparently he resisted his role as a forward during their cup, but a stong leadship got him to buy in. Furthermore he leads a shitty example for young player with his care free attitude. He is a valuable asset for any team, but not as a leader.

    anyone watch OHL hockey? That Fox kid who went undrafted and then the canucks signed is a beast right now. 48 goals 78 pts in just 42 games. Only 4 pts behind the league leader his linemate Connor Brown with 82 pts and was drafted in the 6th round in 2012. Both players should be a steal if they continue
