Anderson is a bad ass fighter but if their is anyone out there that has chance of taking him on it's GSP...IMO he's the only guy that could take him down and keep him down...I guess we'll have to wait and see if it will happen...would be a great fight none the less.

 

i think griffen has a chance at winning against silva, but i dont think gsp would have a chance at silva... im biased as i like griffen and hate gsp

 

I hear ya....I'm slightly biased when it comes to GSP...Griffen is tough as nails and has a chance to beat him. However, if I were a betting man I would take Silva...I'm not so sure Griffen has the answer to Silva's game...I want to see someone beat him though...would be happy enough for it to be Griffen and he needs to bounce back after his title defence.

 

griffen could really use this win and i wouldnt affect silva much, i like them both but silvas last fight was uninspiring

 

I saw the othere day that GSP's groin injury isn't as bad as they had originally thought. He supposed to be back in the gym within 3-4 weeks or something like that. I think it's in this clip here. But yeah, with Silva going up in weight to try to dominate the 205s it'd be really tough for GSP to hold his own with him. He said he walks around at 185-186.

As for Brock. He's no doubt an incredibly great, huge, athlete but he's a friggin tool and has no class whatsoever. He'll be hard to beat but it'll happen. I too would love to see Fedor put a serious beating on him but who knows if we'll ever have the privelage of seeing that. It'd be nice to see Carwin pull it off but I don't know if he can do it or not.

 

I think it also depends which Silva we see. The reason Silva has won in the past was because he physically dominated his opponents in the clinch (i.e. Franklin). Griffen is much bigger so Silva will not be able to use that to his advantage. On top of that, he wins on points because he is taller and longer reach than a lot of 185's, again, not the case with Griffen.

GSP will have a tough time against Silva since his walking weight is 25 lbs less than Silva. However, I think GSP will be able to take him down quite bit and leverage his ground and pound. If it ever happens, it should be a good fight.

Brock's a douche, but I do enjoy watching his fights. He got some rep for being a good wrestler back in college and he's freaking huge. Hard to beat someone like him. It would be entertaining to see that happen, but it sure hasn't yet.

I'm sure in high school he was a total di#khead. But until someone as big as him, and fierce, comes along I wouldn't bet against him winning.

Carwin will beat brock. he's just as big, good wrestling, and better stand up. We all saw that brock can be hurt. Mir did it in the 2nd rd before borck took him down....

 

I'd absolutely love to see it.

 

Rumor has it Fedor is close to a deal with the UFC......... UHHH OHHHHH!!!!

 

There was reports that there was going to be a big announcement/press conference on Friday, but of course everyone is denying it. From what I heard, they are already trying to plan the date of the Lesnar/Fedor fight, potentially end of this year.

My bet is that we will hear real soon, and odds (/money) are that its gonna happen.
