Best mod is adjusting the nut between the seat and the wheel.

Air filter and/or charcoal filter removal have zero effect on mpg. Their restriction is almost nil even at full throttle high rpm operation.

Synthetic oils everywhere and slightly elevated tire pressure do improve mpg a little.

NO. Forget about the air box and filter change. It is a waste of money. The vehicle runs off a computer and it will not get more air with a change unless yours is not working properly.
The best MPG improvement is the driver. Don't do quick starts, and Stay below 2000 rpm. Also keep your tires aired up properly.
Your best bet would be get a second vehicle that gets good MPG's. I have a Corolla that I average between 45 and 48 MPG. It pays for itself if you have long distances to drive.

Toytec Coilovers, Total Chaos uca's, Wheelers aal+Bilstein 5160's. 285/70/17's, Method Double Standards. Magnaflow exhaust, GrilleCraft grille, Allpro bumper, diff breather relocate, yellow wire mod, oil catch can, weathertechs.
Keep your plugs changed at recommended intervals with oem (30-35k), change your air filter as needed, maybe clean the throttle body once in a while. All basic maintenance to get the best out of your truck. I've never tried too hard to get better mileage other than that. I'm lifted with 285's so it really doesn't matter. Im happy with 17-18 with a light foot running 89 octane.

No... there are not. Drive like you have a egg under your foot and it will help. I regularly get 21-22 in the winter and a little higher in the summer. You bought a truck not a Prius.

That threads all over the place....
I wouldn't trust it yet personally, actually I dunno if I'd ever trust it.

Best mod is really the gas pedal mod.... Honestly, just gotta be easy on the gas. I can get 21, which I dont think is bad considering.
