I doubt anyone would be interested, but I will be selling that aluminum topper on my truck. I would let it go cheap if you come get it when it warms up some.

Nice truck, I saw that thing on CL. The 4 runner wasn't working out for you? What about all the parts you bought for it?

The 4runner frame was shot in the front. It was flaking off just like the taco frames do. And the bolt heads for everything underneath were so corroded that it was almost impossible to grip them, even with vice grips. It wasn't up to par for me to build it. Luckily most of the 4runner parts fit the taco. Just a few small things I will sell.

Ryan, I didn't see you in the North of DM / Ankeny / Johnston area today, did I? Saw a silver 1st Gen that looks just like that today but can't remember exactly where or if it was at lunch or around 3 PM. Nice looking truck you have there anyways!

Not today; I was freezing in Boone all day. :)

Thanks though! The seats are terribly uncomfortable compared to my 4runner and the stiff suspension is already getting annoying, but otherwise I like it. I will get all the issues upgraded soon enough.

$1500 to line-x a bed and rocker panels in case anyone was wondering. That's a little more than I was expecting!

Some paint and body shops do line-x and it can be cheaper than doing it from an actual line-x dealer.

I'm looking into U-pol raptor liner. It's supposed to be a user friendly spray on. I'm sure a body shop would do it for me. I might think about doing it myself but I would have to get a big air compressor capable of running a high cfm paint gun.

Line-x is some extremely durable stuff though!

Found a body shop in Des Moines that will spray it all for $250. He said nothing compares to the durability of line-x, but the stuff he sprays is pretty good. He said he could do 2 coats for extra strength.

This is pretty cool, frame looks original under the back, trail gear front bumper.

    Just throwing this out there...

I'm looking to purchase a cheap air compressor. 2 requirements: able to run on 220 volts, and greater than 8 cfm at 90 psi.

If any of you guys know of one for sale for some reason, let me know. I've searched craigslist all around here.
