Reason why I took my rigids off...I had a rubber glass stop piece from work between them and the hood and made it sturdier but still.

Idk if I should mount them back up...

1997 Ford E250 Econoline odometer: 160000 automatic transmission

Up for sale is my 1997 Ford Van! AKA The Survivan!

It's pretty much been our family van for the past couple of years. I currently have it outfitted like a sports utility van. Basically a really big Station wagon that you can walk around in! I needed the space for all the kid gear and my musical equipment and I figured it was better (and cheaper) than buying a minivan with the added bonus of being totally badass!

The kids are getting a little older and we don't need all the strollers and joggers as much as we used to and the list of stuff that needs doing is growing beyond the time or mechanical ability that I have to work on it. It's time to downsize though it breaks my heart to do so.

The motor and trans are strong and shifts as it should. The dual AC system blows cold and can rock ice box temps in the summer;)

    Custom features worth mentioning:

Prerunner fabrication front and back with trail lights and big tires! I was told the lift and fab were done at Camburg by the previous owner and I don't know much about it other than its a 4.5" lift with Bilsteins all around. Very stiff suspension set up for dirt roads at high speeds. Takes some getting used to (if you're a girl, apparently).

I replaced the beat up bench seat with an entire row of fully reclinable Super Shuttle seats. Very heavy duty with latch system support on two of them, and all with armrests! So cool! I've got baby seats strapped to all three at the moment but have driven some big dudes up and down Saddlback mountain a couple of times with ease.

I just had the muffler and tail pipe replaced with a nice tip on the end. Sounds mean but not obnoxious and pretty quiet on the inside. And I just did the brakes last weekend.

I recently had the hood, bull bars and trail lights professionally painted by a body shop with a textured matte black finish. It's a great contrast to the blue! Looks killer.

Like I said, it's got some stuff that needs doing but nothing major. Power train is going strong and I've kept up on all the services and have all of the service records since I've owned it. Sold as is.

I would be willing to trade for a low mileage 87-90 fj62 Toyota land cruiser in good condition. Other than that, straight cash.

Has just passed smog on Saturday and I have the pink in hand!

Text or email please. I'm usually working and hardly ever pick up my phone.

    Thanks- Josh
