Ordered a BlueSea 100 amp circuit breaker and 100 feet of 1/8" techflex sleeving. They got me with the whole 100 feet only being $10 more than 25 feet.... Haha

Trying not to spend the money so I can get to work on maintenance that needs to be done, but I figure this can kind of be considered maintenance. Right???

You should paint your d-rings orange and plasti dip your emblems orange to match the amber headlights. Just some little things I think would add a cool look.

Greased 7 out of 8 zerks on the driveshafts/u-joints. The zerk on the rear driveshaft is gone... Haha

    8!?

I did mine last week and only found 5
I searched and searched but couldn't find any more than these 5...

1st- On the U joint that connects to the tranny
2nd & 3rd- on the U joints where the drive shafts meet (after the CB)
4th- on the end of the drive shaft, before the rear U joint.
5th- on the rear U joint

Can u let me know where the others are? Maybe you have a couple more because your a 4WD and I'm a prerunner?

You have all of the ones I do for my rear axle. The other 3 are the ones from the front driveshaft. One on each u-joint and one on the actual driveshaft.
    No...

They were supposed to ship over 6 weeks ago. I called a few weeks ago and they pretty much blamed it on Icon, and said they would call me back later that day to let me know. Didn't hear anything back.

I posted on the thread that I found out about the sale on and got this response:

If I don't get a notification by the end of this week, I think I may just cancel and copy TimmyB with Bilstein 7100's. Which sucks because it was a great deal on the Icons and will bug the crap out of me if I have Icons up front and Bilsteins in the rear...
All of my u-joints had zerks, which probably means they are factory haha

He could only have 4 if all of the u-joints have been replaced with cheaper aftermarket ones. 2 on the actual driveshaft and 2 on the u-joints for the carrier bearing. The rest could not have any. Just depends.

ok, i'm looking at my options for new shocks after i lift, and i looked at the short body 7100's, but i'm not sure on them, when i looked them up on toytec ( i think) the site said it was $150 something, but it didn't say per pair or per one.

I think its 150 for each but if your going to spend that much on those why not get the icons?

    Yeah, that's each.
Icons are a LOT more than that haha

Mine cost about $460 with free shipping, no tax, and 20% off.

Crap, i was hoping it was per pair.
I can't dump $400 into my rear end right now, any suggestions?
I'll probably PM DSM when it comes time, but i'll always welcome a 2nd opinion.

Really just depends on what you want. Do you want resies or just shocks that will fit your amount of lift?

For now i just need something that'll fit my lift (2-3'')
After i add shackles or another leaf i'll get "good" (rebuildable/ revalveable, resi's) shocks.
I'm hoping for cheaper, if they last a year that's fine, in a year i'll be moved, in school part time, and hopefully have a part time job.

I'm shooting for $100 for my leafs, $100-$150 for a pair of shocks.
I'll start checking the B/S/T section for some lightly used shocks.
