    I don't need it to "hold weight" per se. I don't plan on throwing much more than a cooler in the bed and a tent. I just need it to hold it's own weight.

    When I bought the kit initially I had hoped to get 3" of lift out of it. Tim (DMZ) said if I didn't get the lift out of it I wanted, I could talk to deaver about getting some stiffer leafs made for the pack. Well we put it on day one and I had actually lost ride height over my worn out OEM leaf pack... It has since settled to the point that I think I am at stock height in the rear (minus the tires and body lift).

    I wasn't complaining that I can't haul stuff, because I don't have stuff to haul, I was just saying that I may be picking up stiffer leaf packs.

    That's why I just want to do the stroker kit to make mine a 4.5L with forged internals and sleeved cylinder walls and just throw a URD kit on it. Build it up to handle the 800HP Tor is building for but then only run it at 400-500HP to have a good safety net.

    my dad...is lord of Fix It haha i used to go everywhere with him and watch him fix stuff.

    now we wrench together on both our rigs :D haha i love it. Miss it :eek: was fun getting to work with him for a bit over break tho.

    His truck has some tastey mods coming down the pipe line too :cool:

    i wished i had followed my dad advice with the supra. it had a blown HG and he was like "just fix it and drive it and enjoy it!"...i was like no!...GO BIG OR GO HOME! must have big turbo..lots of HP! :goingcrazy:
