Well I was flying up to northern MN for work today but the flight out of Minneapolis got cancelled due to being short one flight attendant.

Now we're driving the 3 hours up. Are there moose in northern MN?

Night folks, getting my wisdom teeth pulled tomorrow (all 6), anyone have advice for me?

 

Don't you mean 4? It's not that bad I had all 4 drilled out, apple sauce is gonna be your best friend.

 

Don't be all scared like I was. Had all 4 yanked out and ended up getting dry socket. Still never felt any pain, just a little bit of soreness for about 4-5 days.

 

Nope, I'm extra smart (wisdomey?) I've got 2 extra teeth on the bottom.

I just realized this will be my first surgery, and my first time getting knocked out, this should be interesting

 

Sounds like you'll be fine lol I had them stick me with an iv. The surgery was done in less than 30 mins and I took 2 days to be not in pain and was out and about on the 4th day

 

I just had mine pulled out a week ago. They gave me Percocet for the pain but i never took any. I had no pain whatsoever, just took ibuprofen to help with the swelling. The pain is really dependent on how developed the roots are, how the teeth are coming in, how easily they come out etc.

 

Yup, the younger the better. I probably could have done it without the percocet, but I mean come on. It was free and it made me feel better

 

the roots on mine were only like 40% developed so they came out super easily. My g/f's on the other hand, had to come out way early so she could get braces and they said it was like trying to pull out ball bearing because they hadn't developed hardly at all. Which meant tons of digging around= more pain.

 

I like the surgery time, I'm supposed to be there by 7:45 so I'm hoping to be home by noon.
The downtime doesn't sound to bad.

My teeth are getting close to popping through the skin (the ones closest to my molars on the bottom look like this, molars,\wisdom tooth,-other wisdom tooth, So I have one pushing against my molar, but angled up, and one pushing straight into the side of the other wisdom tooth, so they might have to dig some)

Are you back to eating people food?

 

Sounds like you're about where I was. One corner of both my bottom teeth had pushed through.

 

i was eating soft foods within a couple days and regular food after 4-5. just kinda have to chew with your front teeth hahaha but definitely take it easy the first couple days, you don't want a blot clot getting sucked out and getting a dry socket.

 

I guess its been like a week and a half now, but all the stitches have fallen out and i'm totally back to normal.

 

I hate waking up in the middle of the night in a sweat.
