I second this - I have tint too dark & my front plate is under the passenger seat. Cops must have bigger fish to fry these days than this salmon.

Ben - if you still drove the Yukon I'd hit you up for a dime bag fo sho.

EDIT: Wow Jake, your pee pee story is fucked up.

Anyone know anybody that has a Skyline ECO CAMP trailer?

I went in to look at the Jayflight Baja but liked this Skyline way better.

Almost snagged one (in the picture) Saturday (so close) but decided to wait. I always research the shit out of anything before buying.

I loved it and so did my better half. It's light for a 20 footer. Reviews i've seen so far are excellent.

I just thought i'd ask if anyone is familiar with this brand.

I like the travel lites. They are way under weight for what we can haul, and very nice inside. Plus, we know the winds out this way aren't too bad so it wouldn't get tossed over at least.

This one is 3180 dry. I'm going to shop like hell.

    While doing that......

I'm getting the rear shit blocks removed and going with a spring pack (not sure which yet) and getting the Firestone Ride Rite airbag kit then a trailer brake controller done.

Just do an OMD mod with the airbags. He has a how-to on the 6" lift that you have on the truck... and then the airbags to go with it.

I'll be looking at pop ups and travel lites. I know there is one more really light weight one too. Give me a moment.

Ok, I can't find any at the moment. I'll get back with you later.

I got my brake controller done at a uhaul. The brake controller itself was not their most expensive, and I can't remember if it is good for 3 or 4 axles of brakes. Don't have haul do the wiring for you. You run 3 wires through the firewall, positive (red) and negative (black) to battery (positive is fused line of course), and brake power (blue) to the trailer plug. From inside the cab, splice onto the wire that comes off the breaks pedal for brake lights.

What I found on mine is that it wasn't working for long. It is 12 gauge wiring, and had a 5 amp fuse that burnt out upon the first use of brakes. 12gauge is good for 20 amps. I think I replaced the fuse with a 10 amp and it has held just fine. My trailer is a 2 axle horse trailer.

Occasionally I do. 2600 lbs empty, and I figure with one horse and all his tack, close to 4000 lbs. I do slightly abuse my truck. I used a different trailer and got 3 yards of top soil once. 1 in the truck and 2 in a 3000lb gross rated trailer. That was a heavy load, and that trailer doesn't have brakes. I was dragging my safety chains on the ground all the way to my mom's house.

I spent a couple days in Florence 2 weeks ago. That was an eye opening experience doing something completely different with my truck. Awesome stuff.
