Just a little info for you guys... I've been learning the process of powdercoating over the last few months and will be bringing it in house. This will greatly improve turn around times as this has been our biggest snag in production for years. It's hard to get stuff out on time every time when you are at the mercy of someone elses schedule. Anywho, just wanted to pass along the good word! Following up on my order! When can I expect delivery?

 

Awesome stuff, I've been thinking about getting one but I cant decide what I want.

I had an idea based off the TRD logo...


...and here is what i came up with, if anybody else is interested.



The double-bar grill kind of clashes with it, but it might look better on the single-bar grills (2011+). Anyways, just thought I'd share in case anybody else liked it and wanted to order one.

 

I like that allot how much for one ? Mines a 06..

 

I really like that emblem design! The bottom left and top right are definitely something I can do. The others would require some finesse!

I've accumulated some extra emblems over the years that are pretty much ready to go, just need a powdercoat. Since I'm now doing my own powdercoating, I can ship these stock items out rather quickly. I'll be posting pics of the designs I have laying around and will offer them at little bit of a discount. Most are for 2005 to 2010, but I do have a few 2011 + emblems in there. More details coming later this week!

 

Just to give you guys a heads up about purchasing from Metalmiller. The communication is great- however, I've been waiting 5 months now and still haven't recieved all of my emblems yet. I recieved my front emblem two days ago and it was not the color I ordered, but he responded immediately to my email and is fixing the problem. But I'm still waiting on the other emblems. I'm a little frustrated that he put out a notice in November that if placing an order in the next week that you would recieve them by Christmas- what about us that placed orders in October? I realize that these are "custom emblems" and I appreciate that it takes time but I just want other people to know what kind of time frame to expect. The front emblem looks good so far but I'll wait to see what the side badges look like before I give my final opinion on quality. Just my two cents worth

I too started out with good communication but it has been over 6 months and now I get no response to my emails!!! I paid up front for my products and was promised prompt delivery! I was told that the powder coater lost my emblems and that was the delay. Having done much business with TW vendors with great customer service. I was giving him the benefit of the doubt but at this point TW should red flag this vendor until he fulfills his current obligations. Not to be a jerk, but he can tarnish the good reputation of others on this site.
I am willing to give him an honest review of his product and service but until then..

 

Mine took quite awhile to receive as well..like 6 months. .lots of emails...was starting to wonder and then one day it showed up and it was worth the wait

 

I hope that's the case. Like everyone, I paid up front and was told it would be five weeks. Almost six weeks have passed and I haven't heard from him.

If it's going to be six months, I would have liked to know that from the onset.

But I'm sure he is interested in the sustainability of his business, and I'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt.

I'd be happy to extol the virtues/quality of his product here and in other places, as long as I have a solid ETA of it from him.
