I kind of like it in the mirror myself. Just naturally looking there when backing up. I have driven vehicles with the back up in the head unit and always felt strange looking away from the mirror....

So what if I just went to the local toyota stealership and copied the vin off of one of their trucks in the lot?

Oooooo I see now. Nevermind. I was thinking that you just needed a 2014 vin, but you need the vin off of the truck that the radio came from.

it doesn't have to be off the EXACT truck that the radio came off of. It needs to be the VIN off any 2014 tacoma with entune.

    Yeah, what he said ^^^
Was a little tedious trying to find the right VIN # though
Moved the backup display into the head unit and love it

Elaborate on getting the camera to view on the HU?

Theres write ups on it somewhere on here, you have to buy a wiring kit/harness i believe.

It's not the same wiring kit tho...those are for a 2013 radio...
With that being said, you can use the pins but the actual plug doesn't plug in anywhere on the 14 unit

Yea it's plug and play, but if you don't have the camera on the screen it's not plug and play with that aftermarket harness
