Top hat on my right shock was broken.

If this matters at all, the spot where my top hat broke is not where they normally break. I went out to Icon to pick one up (it was covered under warranty...i love free!) and this is the first one they have seen where the bolt is sheared and the plate snapped at the rear hole. To me it looks like the bolt that holds the shock to the top hat broke and over time because of the broken bolt and the shock moving up and down the top hat was flexing and it finally snapped. I say that because where the top hat was cracked it wasn't a fresh snap it had been there for a bit. The bolt sheared right in the middle but still held the shock in place but did allow the plate to flex more than it should.
And...oh look my truck grew another shock hoop during all of this.

I cant wait to see how they work also. Supposedly King will have the bypasses to me by the end of next week. If it all works out I may make it to superstition to give them a test run.

Picked up some spare parts for my front shocks and some limit straps for the front so I don't have to use those spare parts.

You good Tom? A customer just called me and said he saw a bad accident on the 55 with a Tacoma your color and a Pelfreybilt front bumper that completely fucked a little red car up. Not sure who it is.

Ask Anthony (Datsik) how well a Porsche 911 held up to a gentle love tap from the rear (hint, bumper didn't have a scratch)

Thanks! I've got a lot of good use out of both of those also. Added plenty to the truck since then. I'm headed out to the Superstition meet tomorrow morning. I plan on buying another $25 bucks in raffle tickets and drive home with the RTT they are raffling off tomorrow. Thats my plan we'll see how it works out.

Ya it was about a 25 mile drive to it. Here is the GPS track to it. Fish creek is the single track to the west of the map and running south into the mountains.

He is fine right now. They did an emergency angioplasty on his heart only to find nothing....back to square one on why he has shortness of breath and no heart issues. Thanks for asking!
