    Hey yall I am super new here
    Tomorrow I would like to order my tire and wheel setup!
    And I just had a couple of questions sorry if they have been asked already anyways;
    1.) With my 3inch lift will I be able to fit 285/75/18 without any rubbing or that sort of matter?

    That's the setup I have. I rub while backing up and turning but that can be remedied by trimming more of the plastic in the wheel well. I'm am happy with it. Although I have always been a fan of the 6 in lift

    If that isn't a typo it will require ALOT of trimming including cutting fender flares. Post your wheel specs also because that is important with anything wider than 265s.

    Shoot man I feel dumb so what would be the biggest tire I can run without any trimming cutting cause the truck came with 100k warranty. The wheels I wanna get are fuel pump 18inch
    I am also digging the look of either the toyo mud tires or the general grabbers anyone ever run the grabbers?
    Sorry I guess I should do more research.

    I have 285 65 18 on my Tacoma and I rubbed my uca's at full lock turn, but I ended up just replacing the uca's with lr uca's. You'd def be fine as long as you got less than 1 inch spacers.

    He shouldn't need any spacers if he gets the correct wheel offset/backspacing. OP if you go with 285/65/18 look for a wheel with 4.5" backspacing or less, probably going to be 0 to -12mm offset depending on width. More than likely 285s will require some trimming

    265/70/18 is about the same height as the 285s but skinner, which would mean less rubbing. 265/65/18 should not rub at all with proper offset.

    Back spacing doesn't matter for rubbing but offset does. The more offset, the wider out the tires will be

    Less offset (the lower the number) the farther the tires stick out, for example if you have -12mm offset the tire will stick out farther than say 18mm. Backspacing and offset are relative, one doesn't change without the other on a wheel that is the same width, backspacing is important when determining if the tire will rub the UCA, especially with wider wheels.
