Yea mine are nowhere near that living in Blackstone.

 

I've considered changing my address to MA instead of RI. Might make insurance cheaper too.

 

When I moved from Quincy to Norwood, my taxes were less than half of what they were and they went down another 10% when I moved from Norwood to Millis.

 

Or even better just do like almost all the businesses in that town has done and move.

 

Ugh Hopkinton sucks for taxes. Not looking forward to the first excise tax bill for the wife's T4R. That's what we get for trying to be all fancy and shit

 

On the plus side my truck is like $50, and my 92 pickup was $12 last year

I don't mean to crap on a fellow TW member's truck, but $12,500 seems a bit on the steep side for a 14 year old 4-banger with 205K on it. To be sure, it's very clean for a 14 year old truck, but 200K is 200k....

I've spent some time in machine shops, but not enough to recognize what that machine does.

Yup elevator it is. It is an old mid 60s Westinghouse geared elevator. I was standing in the pit (area under elevator) looking at the back of the machines.
