yeah the delrin type custom mounts is what im talking about. I was going to do the same with mine when i caged it. My motor mounts are completely trashed by now and i figured if its all torn apart might as well get that done cause we both know that after a cage, its a whole new level of driving hahah. If you got the time still, id go for it.

Yeah ill have to see what we can do. Would love to upgrade those mounts... I have some old go pro footage and I can see the motor flopping around all over the place in there lol.

I have the airbag ready for you..the steering wheel might be tricky.. I think I may need a custom mount for an aftermarket wheel?? Just based off the research I have found. Not 100% sure though...

If your doing stiffer motor mounts you should do the same to the tranny mount. If you make the motor more solid and not the trans it will still flex a lot and put stress on the motor mounts

thats one danger of solid mounting an aluminum block, you have to make sure the trans doesnt flop around. 2nd is get an engine cage. You do not want your motor the only thing keeping your front frame rails solid. If all those mounts have to do is support the motor it will be fine, if it has to strengthen your chassis and/or hold your trans it can crack the block

he told u if u would of brought it in he would have fixed or helped u with the issue free of cost on his time and instead u bash him. not pointing fingers or starting an argument, just don't bash on someone specially if they offered to help u out again for free and whenever u wanted to come down. Seans a chill dude and willing to help u out. But bashing him and putting a shitty name out for him and telling everyone to never go there is a bit far, and not cool cause thats his business and only job. He hooks everyone up huge on price too, so its not like u were robbed a bunch a money and didn't get shit in return. just my .02 ;)

Yes that is true. when i told him of issues he did say that he would fix it. but, would i really want to take my truck back to him to "fix" everything? when he f'ed up so many things? everything he did in my eyes was horrible.

if anyone wants to know what happened pm me. i dont want to derail padens thread any further.

ya and u should have told him exactly all this. like he said he would fix it. all that stuff litterly takes probably 10 mins to do ur self anyways  if ur tabs not being welded 100% all the way around and it bothers u that much, then weld them up more, or go ask him to. if the straps need to be moved, cut the tab, droop it out and weld them back in. or take it to him like i said and do it in 5 mins. And dont say "i havent cycled it myself, but" go out there and cycle it and see, before u talk trash;) im sure its fine. if its not, then take it down there and have the shock tabs moved 1/2 an inch so its perfect! haha also ur cross tube being sleeved is actually stronger than on peice of tube! its twice as thick! u wont break shit on that rear end. and if for some reason u do, take it to him and get it fixed free of charge! dude ur front end cant even hold up for what u put ur truck through. ur rear end is a long ways from breaking, if i were u, i'd be more worried about that ball joint nightmare u have on the front end:p
