First pics... Barcelona Red 4x4

So after 6 months of reading and not much posting, I finally am getting around to posting up pics of my Tacoma. No major mods besides running 12v behind the rear seat for VHF/UHF radio, tint, front TRD skid plate, and bed mat. Hope you like!

Actaully, about 20 feet in front of the truck was where all the soft sugar was... Of course I drove through it to validate that I actually need 4wd in Florida.

krookz and burgman if you are talking about OBX sand I feel you. Ramp 33 is the worse but 34 surprisingly is relatively packed.

Don't mean to derail this thread but are there any areas in OBX where a stock TDRsport can go? I'm headed to Kitty Hawk in a few weeks and am taking my truck.

Color matched grill (and handles) is why I went TRD sport in the first place!

 

haha, yea i figured!! cant hurt to ask though. I got mine for 6k below sticker because it was traded in. but only had 2700 miles on it. Couldnt pass it up. Love the color matched grill though

I got mine on saturday. Also Barcelona Red DC 4x4! Mines is an Offroad though w/ Tow package, DRL, 6 disc, All weather mats, etc... Waited a month for it and drove over 300 each way to pick it up. Had 4 miles on the ODO from where they inspected it.

Built 07/09 in Mexico (Baja Cali). (for those excepting the 2010s you got a few months left still). No yellow sticker or anything. Haven't had a single problem to report. It doesn't even have the normal Taco lean, everything measured exact. The rear suspension also feels much stiffer than one with the same options I test drove a couple months ago that was made earlier in the year, but I still have 3 leaves.

I've only put the 315 miles on from the drive, but so far no weirdness from the automatic transmission, no vibrations, no rattles, no unsual wind noise even at 80mph with the wind blowing. I'm sure most of that happens later on though.

And yea, I love the color. Blue was my second choice but it was almost the same color as my WRX and I wanted a change and after looking at em in person thought it was a little too light in the sun and not quite what I personally liked on the tacoma. The red is just sharp and right in the middle between the brighter Radiant Red and the darker red (can't remember the name).

My only problem is that Virginia only allows 50% tint on the front windows, thinking about going over the state line and getting a 35% while I still have my temporary NC tag.
