I do light off-roading, def. Not shy with it, but I am still making payments on it as of this year so what I do is always in check!

Haven't been to any "commercial" type trails as I haven't had much experience with technical type trails where spotters are needed, plus the truck is still new, but I got plenty of light trails where I live at the Peaks of Otter I fool around with and go camping and such.

Yea it's a nice area, live maaaybe 10 minutes from sharp top.

It's a '12, should finish the payments off this winter and then start putting some plates on it. I really need to start a build thread...

Maybe we could all do some camping up there soon!

Were you at the toyota meet in Harrisonburg recently? I was there but didn't camp. I may or may not have won the frontrunner rack

Haha that's awesome, I don't recall seeing your truck there, but then again, I was there for only a day, and that day was spent drinking beer and freezing my ass off. That tarp you had might not have been bad cause the wind was killer, would've been ok otherwise. I hope it gets moved to a warmer date this year.

haha, it wasn't particularly recognizable sense the only noticeable mod was the grill. we were lined up closer to the road... but anyway, ya the tarp actually worked really well! even the second night when the wind really picked up it was stuck tight to the truck and i was WARM!!!!

And from what I know currently, it's bonn ahas to be organized by either Steven Toyota this year or another TW member cuz our local guy (won't drop names but he's watching :spy:) says he's probably not up to the PITA task again.. apparently it was a lot more work than fun for the organizers. I'm hoping it happens again cuz it was fun but ya, definitely on a warmer day!!

Feel like I committed a small sin today but I think it'll pay off. Went to the dodge dealership and ordered some extra d-rings for the bed. They were only $5, even the parts guys was shocked at how cheap they were! if you search around on here there's a bunch of write up about adding drings to the second gen beds and what people have found is that amazingly there's some out of a dodge sprinter van that fit our factory boltse perfectly! the other plus side is that they're even more heavy duty than our stock ones

lemme tell ya though... got some really funny looks from all the jeeps guys around me... and was still proud to be gettin back in Yoda and drivin away!!!
