4th Annual Socaltacomas/TW SUPERSTITION Trip Jan 18-19 2014

I have no idea to be honest, I just know I take the 91 to the 15 to get to the general ocotillo area. I was gonna wait for coordinates or just follow Cory and the gang to superstition.

Edit: Westmorland is way backwards for me, I was thinking of taking the 15 to the 76 or 78..?

 

wheres the friday morning caravan meeting and at what time? (san diego)

 

"official" caravan again this year meeting at Motoworld of El Cajon at 7:30 and leaving by 8am!!

There is no date one the initial post for when the official caravan leaves...so the title of the thread infers that the caravan leaves on the morning of the 18th...can we straighten this out.

 

NO IT'S A FRIDAY CARAVAN sorry guys OP now updated and will add proposed camp coordinates for every one to get a close idea of where to go

 

I'll be heading in from Arizona this Friday- anyone else taking the 10 to the 86 south? It'd be cool to have a meet up spot around 2 pm or so to caravan down. I'm trying to find a good spot to meet other friends heading east

 

Im headed Thursday with stefen. Around noon

Yeah if you are coming from LA or East LA the 10 is the fastest way:

 

I'll b driving down Saturday morning, I'm taking the 10 & 86 route if anybody wants to caravan. The best place to meet is at the Lowe's off Day St. Off the 60 fwy

 

What time are you leaving camarillo on Friday? Ill join you guys as long as you don't mind a 4runner tagging along w you.

Is anybody leaving Saturday morning who has an open seat for a single lady to take out and back?

 

I would have bought another single cab if they offered it with the v6 and trd package.

My last two toyota trucks were single cabs.

 

OK EVERYONE HERE'S ANOTHER UPDATE:


CAMP- We will camp to the left of wheeler RD up closer to the mountain this year. Just past the sharp right turn on wheeler at approx mm 7.5 Here are coordinates for all to have a general idea of where we will be, 32.93075,-115.808799 (shouldn't be hard to find a group of 60 tacomas)


BBQ- We will have a group BBQ Saturday night courtesy of the guys at TRAC-PERFORMANCE... We will provide all the food for the group however I'd like to have 3-4 large grills to help speed the process up so please let me know if you plan on bringing a grill.

RAFFLE- We will once again have a raffle with a ton of awesome prizes courtesy of:
Trac-Performance, All-pro off-road, Down South Motorsports, Digidiodes, Pelfreybuilt off-road,CVT tents, Jumper's LED's, McNeil
Tickets for raffle will be $5 as always and will go in a largo pool

SHIRTS- Steve will have limited amount of Socal Tacomas shirts for sale.. (cash only) white,black,gray in L & XL, AND we'll be taking orders for shirts if you want a different color or size than what we have.

CARAVAN- I will lead a caravan out of SD Friday morning meeting at 7:30am at motoworld of el cajon. Leaving there at 8am please let me know if you're coming so I can get a head count ahead of time for this.
