How does that one articulate if it's tied to two points at the front?

I haven't see clear photos of the front attachment point.

Kase, build one and I'll use it. Question is how would it be attached to the front? Would need to allow rotating and front to back movement when flexing.

I used to live at I10 and Eldridge and those idiots kept me up for a whole weekend. FAST cars for sure! That's not a poor mans sport.

 

Gas and food man… gas a food. I think if your were wise with your money, and pinch pennies, $700 would get you there and back including food.

IF you don't eat out, and buy just the necessary stuff for sandwiches and camping snacks you could easily make it on the above budget. We can put together and plan meals as a group, and that will reduce the cost even more. I'll do the food shopping and then we split the bill with those in our group.

 

I'll tow your ass home if necessary on a Uhaul dolly. To me, that is worst case scenario.

Unless we both need to get home on flatbeds. That'd be BAD!

you guys and your jumping rocks lol. if you kick up a rock bid enough to mess up the DS by getting stuck between it and that skid, you're also punching holes in the side of your gas tank with that same rock.

Mike put the plate there because where he's from (abotu 3 hours north of where i'm from), we have very jagged rocks, so there is a large possibility that with just the bars, that a tall skinny rock could find it's way through the bars, to the shaft. it is commonplace when we wheel rausch creek, to lose 1-2 driveshafts per weekend trip, in a group of 5-10 trucks.

It's a lot older than that. Mike had it built a number of years ago, when he was still hauling the truck out west for races.

 

Anything is possible, and the gas tank is only on the driver side. It didoesn't cover the pass side. And from all the rust, I'm going to assume he is either by the ocean or by where it snows a lot. So where ever the truck is. That same thing here wouldn't be as useful with the plates.
