Anybody know what the buzz is about these Magic Mary tires from Schwaibe?

I keep hearing about people wanting them.

I wanted a Bronson since they came out, but the Intense has overtaken that want. Both frames seem to be similarly priced. I guess this is a good problem to have? Cant really go wrong with either.

Lol i cant say so i wont say anymore but a certin DH and AM bike will be going 650b haha and they will be released at Sea Otter just not sure when theyll actualy be avalible to everyone...if u realy think about it ull probably know just because its one off the only big companies who hasnt yet (thats my hint) the company i just cant say yet haha so keep ur guesses in ur head!!! i was just saying anyone thinking about going 650b down the line might have another good option other than what SC and Intense are offering cuz there big wheel bikes are killing other brands 650b bikes but now a big competitor too them may be bringing something out :spy:

On another note. anyone have some predictions for this years world cup DH series, id like to see Hill come back and kick ass again!

Well if the company comes looking for you to see who spilled the beans, at least your username doesnt reveil your identity at all. :p

I agree Hans Dampfs are great with a nobby in the rear. I hear Intense is making a new 27.5 coming out soon too.

I have a Wolverine and a WeirWolf right now. I'm pretty happy with that combo at the moment. But, hearing so many talking about Schwaibe, I figure I gotta ask.

    The Hans look interesting too.

my only dislikes on schwalbe is the price there so expensive compared to other tires and also they last half as long as most tires but grip wise they kick ass, i can seed them tubeless on a non tubeless rim with no stans and a hand pump too, but then when it comes time to take them off its next to impossible…my favorite all time tire is the Specialized butcher tho, really similar tread pattern to the maxxis minion dhf, but they last 3-4x as long. id like to give the continental trail kings a try just never have, a lot of people here ride them and swear by them

I'm anti-Specialized. The way they treat their dealers sucks so I try not to buy their stuff.

My LBS carries very few non-Specialized tires, the Connie being an exception and only where they don't overlap Specialized. If I'm willing to hike, I can find the WTBs.

Grip usually means a softer compound which means quicker wear :( Maybe I'll wait for Sea Otter and get some Maxxis off the truck-they usually have tons to pick from on Friday at OK prices.

Yeah price is killer but I've seen deals in the 50 range which is a lot better then 70.
