I run a large car wash. I would have run it. I don't see anything wrong. I woulda made you spray all the mud off first though. I would have peeped the undercarriage too to make sure you got all the mud off. The problem with washing a muddy vehicle is it's impossible to get all the mud from under the body when you're busy pumping out 100-150 cars an hour (full service, windows, vacuum, dash , console ). When they exit the wash in the front they'll be dripping mud everywhere and all the clean cars that come out behind it will have to drive through it and get it on their tires and the guys working will be walking through it spreading it everywhere in cars etc... Hell, I get cussed daily. If a muddy truck pulls on the lot and I tell them we can't wash itbecause it's too muddy, depending on the reaction, I'll have them pull next door to the self serve and I'll put time on the clock for them (10 minutes) and if I have the extra man I'll have someone do it for them. If they're bitchy I just smile and say sorry. As far as the bumper that would be no problem though.

Yea, I always try to make sure I don't have anything in the bed, or a lot of mud on the truck or under it because of that. I've never had anyone turn me down when I forget to do that before hand though. Not sure what the issue with the bumper is. Something about it being to high their equipment could grab my tires and pull me off track or some bs. This carwash took me plenty of times before it came under new management. The carwash across town didn't have an issue with me. I'm not looking for a showroom shine. I had enough people writing in the mud it was time to wash it and just get the stuff off the paint.

Ahhh my friend there is one scotch made elsewhere. Glen Breton. By definition, and law. It is or was north America's only "scotch". Soooo basically you're wrong.

Actually I stand corrected. Reading more into it. This scotch has been made following century old tradition which gave it a scotch like association. BUT the scotch counsel of some such decided against it and actually tried forcing them to drop the name. Anyhow. Turns out I was wrong. ;)

    The more you know......

:facepalm: That was ridic. Some people need to take advantage of open parking lots to learn how to handle what they're going to be operating/towing.

I've got a buddy that does stuff like this. Just can't get it worked out in his head how it works when you are backing up with a trailer. I always have to give him step by step instructions whenever he is backing a trailer in anywhere. He also drives a Chevrolet.

Tell him to hold the bottom of the steering wheel, it takes all the thinking out of it

Yup, hold the bottom of the wheel and push the way you want the trailer to go. Easy peasy

I've only towed a trailer once with a truck. Few times with my Lawn tractor if that counts too LOL. So I'm not great at it by any means. But I think I could do better than that guy.

    good tip!
