My buddy's truck went through 5 major accidents. After that, NO ONE merged on that thing

 

Hey guys, what is the best way to eliminate noise from leaf packs? My leaf packs with the wheelers progressive aal have been creaking since day one, but I haven't done much more than silicone spray.

 

My leaf packs still make my coffee spill in the morning.

I'm just gonna start out in 4WD in Bothell.

 

I thought you were going right after work from Seattle. Also, if you arrive in 4wd, that makes you first one into it, and you lose.

Just quietly tie somebody else's truck to a tree when they aren't looking.

Have you tried separating and putting a bicycle tube or cut up wheelbarrow tire in between where the pads are supposed to be? Not sure if that's the issue, just a guess.

 

You can try pond liner like OZ-T put on his. There's some squeaky leafs threads to search for various solutions.

 

Shouldnt be as difficult now that you have the nerf bars on your truck. Lol

I'm half tempted to be spontaneous, drive up from Oregon, and invite myself along so I can meet some other TWrs and actually use my truck for more than being a pavement princess.

I've only been real off-roading once, and it was a lot of fun. It'd be nice to go out with other people that know what they're doing and learn from them. Plus...safety in numbers. My safety, your numbers.

Looks like 3 hours up...3 hours back. How much time is spent on-site?

OK looks like we'll have to make everybody remove their CVs before the meet for enforcement purposes...

 

Mine squeak sometimes but I've had luck pressure washing between the leaves occasionally and squirting motorcycle chain lube between the leaves afterwards. If I jack up the truck, I take advantage and really get the lube in there.

I want to give you an invitation to come out to this little off road adventure so you don't have to invite yourself. Maybe if you sweet talk Ben or Mike, you can drive up to o e of their houses and spend Saturday night there so it cuts a couple hours off of your commute.
