    It's the wife's T4R so it's stock
There are a couple ways to do it:

    1. HID Retrofit: Rip your headlights apart, and install real projectors with HID bulbs. This will be the best light (IMHO).

    2. LED lightbulbs: Check out LifetimeLEDs.com or csjumper (TW Member) for info on LED headlight bulbs... no hacking of your existing headlights required for better than stock light output.

    3. High quality halogen bulbs.

I would avoid putting HID bulbs in your standard headlight housing without the projectors... you'll just end up scattering light everywhere.

Cannot agree more with not putting HID bulbs in Halogen reflectors, I'm to the point now I feel it should be a towable offense. If you get stopped and are running HIDs in a Halogen reflector bowl.

It should be impounded. plain and simple, I'm tired of idiots blinding me on the road because they don't care if I can't see. But they forget me not seeing can lead to wrecking there retarded selves.

Can you tell I saw more then one just this morning on the way to work?

    /end rant

Go with projectors and HID's. There are some great examples here.

Hey guys, thanks for the info! I was thinking of going HID in both my Taco and my wife's Paseo. I had no idea the reflector bowls needed to be changed, and the companies that make the kits are less than forthcoming. I'll check out the LEDs instead.

Going to have to chat with csjumper...nobody online seems to have LED headlight bulbs. They've got LED bulbs for everything else, just not headlights.
