    my ballast went out on my HIDs and i was wondering if i could just swap out the both ballast with another brand and it work fine without problems, has anyone tried just curious

    no just one but the company is giving the run around as far their warranty so instead of ordering a whole new shebang just thought i would save money and just buy 2 ballast

    Have you swapped ballast (from left to right) to make certain it's not your bulb? Ask me how I know?

    I've had good luck with el cheapo ballast off EBay. My wife's car is still on a set over three years old. I've got three sets on my truck (Mini Moro projectors, converted Hellas and fogs) all ballast have held up, but I have blown a bulb or two in just over two years. The "slim" digitalis seem to be better.
