What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Its great stuff! Just spray a few light coats like its spray paint. It dries almost like paint. Very clean, and long lasting. We use it a lot in the shipyard on VLS doors and stuff. Might work well on squeaky leafs too

Actually, Ive noticed that my leafs barely squeak right now. Probably because they're Seattle Soggy.

 

Mounted the new 50" LED bar

 

I finally got my Fuel D551 Trophy Wheels and Duratrac LT285/70/R17 tires on tonight. This completes the recent rash of mods: OME 3" Lift, 886x coils, Total Chaos UCA's, Dakar leaf packs, sway bar relocate, U-bolt flip, SS Rear brake lines. I will post better pictures and specs soon, I've been waiting to post picture until I had everything on the truck, but didn't have time tonight to properly photograph.




As I was driving home from the Auto Skills Center, I saw a fellow toyota pick-up driver (~18 year old kid) spun out in the snow bank. He spun 180 degrees on the road and speared back-end first into the snow bank up to the front tires. I quickly jumped at the opportunity to pay-it-forward for all the kindness shown to me when I got my truck stuck just yesterday. I hooked a tow strap up to his front tow point and to my hitch and pulled him out with little trouble.

All in all, a victorious night for the Tacoma

 

Installed a 2014 navigation unit into my 2013. Thanks FLtrucks!

 

Changed my oil and wiper blades. Exciting.

 

Added some bed lights!

 

Pace edwards jackrabbit due to arrive at home by noon, gonna install and test for waterproof after work. Also do a write up on how to install with photos cause I couldnt find one.

It's worse with a silver hood, but not so bad without a scoop. Still very much worth it.
