On leg day, I usually do 1 hard and heavy exercise (either squats, deads, or leg press), along with 3 lighter ones (any machine, leg curls, lunges, etc.) For me, that'd be like trying to max out in bench, incline, and decline all in the same day.

I've got question for you fellas that do clean bulks. I usually do dirty bulks b/c I'm an ectomorph and it's so hard for me to gain weight and easy for me to lose it, so I just pig out on my bulks. I have a friend who wanted me to design a clean bulk for him and he's also an ectomorph, but he wants to do a clean bulk. His maintenance calories are around 2500 and I'd say he's probably around 14-15% bf, so gaining fat isn't that big of a deal for him. The meal plan I designed him calls for:

    3090 cals
    278 g protein
    372 g carbs
    64 g fat

    What ya think?

No legit NFL, chargers, packers, hawks, and two others. Guess I am the only one who's mind was blown about this fact.

i don't know his weight but i would bump up the fat a little more, to about 80 or 85, you can sacrifice a little carbs and protein, but fats are pretty important. also 278 protein is a lot, that's how much i take in lol

He never played for the Packers. I would've known about this. He play for LA Rams, Chargers, Redskins, and was on the Eagles practice squad.

I'd say you could even go up to 90+ on fat. Remember 1 gram of fat is 9 cal, 1 carb is 4 cal and 1 gram of protein is 4 cal.

On a perfect day I take in 50% of my body weight in grams of protein. As a teenager I always had the old dogs telling me a gram per pound of body weight. Yeah, well that led to me getting protein in my urine, extremely painful. Since then I've taken 90-100 grams a day and have had zero trouble gaining weight, mass, or strength. I'm 12 pounds away from hitting the 200 lbs mark and this intake has been steady since 3 months ago when I weighed 168 lbs. Just food for thought.

I usually consume 1g/lb of bodyweight and have had no issues. I recalculated and get something much better:

    3162 calories
    215.5 g protein
    437 g carbs
    74.5 g fat

His stats are ~6'2'', ~195 lbs, 14-15% bf, and maintenance calories are 2500....I think this plan is good enough, yes? It is free, after all!

Well, you can't argue with it coming strait from his mouth. But no record of him on any roster from 1991 through 2002. Not even injured reserve or practice squad. Guess we'll never know.
