Personally I would never do a v8 swap on my Tacoma, even if I won the lotto. Center mount would be nice, but way too much work and custom custom custom.
The 9" rear and links on the other hand.......

    Funds I have...time I don't.

JD and Cory both have Moogs and have since they did LT, both beat the shit out of their trucks and never had a problem. Save your cash.

I think you need a new front kit with more travel to match the links then, or do a A Short Course Link/Rock Crawling Cross 21~" travel range

Well...just send it away  No one said to actually build it yourself!

I wouldn't do the swap either I can get plenty of power out of my 4.0 with some forced induction. I was just throwing ideas out there:D

Sure. Bring it on over. :D
I was happy with my Hobart. It did the job and did it well. The only tricky time I had with it was some of the sheet metal skinning where I wished I had move voltage flexibility. In the end it really didn't matter (from a looks perspective) because all the sheet metal joints got seam sealer over the top so most the welds are hidden.

    Yep.

alright I'll leave now cya in 3 days :cookiemonster:

I'm very happy with my dads Hobart so far I just wish it was capable of 220 since we have access to it in the barn. Maybe I'll talk him into splitting the cost to upgrade to a slightly bigger one someday

Yeah I've never used anything but 220v welder. I say save your coin and buy the welder you want.
I bought my Hobart 9 years ago brand new. It served it's purpose and I sold it for almost what I payed for it 9 years ago (one good thing about inflation I guess). :D

I'm definitely going to look into it, thats for sure, dad bought it as a farm welder to fix little things around the house many years ago. So it has had its fair share of use.
