    TRD super charger, URD fuel mods and 2.1 super grip pully, Headers, 2.5" glass pack, Dana 60 front 4 linked, 14bolt rears on chev 63's, 5.38 gears, ARB locker in the front, PSC full hydraulic steering, 18" SAW 2.5" triple rate coils overs, FOA 2.5 air bumps, B&M launch controls, B&M trans cooler, 4 alpine 6X8 type R's amped, Red led rock lights, CBI front and rear bumpers (my design) CBI sliders, 4 riggid dualys front 2 in the rear, custom track bar, ARB snorkle, warn VR8000 winch, Viair 480c twin compressers..
    on no i was confused you basicaly just agreed with me.. i thought you said one should not just go to a dana60 so i was like what if the weaker options suck then LT first?? i was being a smart ass. but yeah im with you if youre going to build it to be big then Dana 60 right off the batt but if some one was not ever going go above 35's then built 44 or toy axle would be fine..

    that depends on what you are running it under and how big of tires your going to run

    i did say that but lets be honest ive never met a guy that sas'd and push'd tires small enough that the D44 or toy axle could handle without breaking.

    i still stand firm and say if they are both upgraded the D44 is stronger but at that point shoulda just put in a D60

    I agree the D44 is stronger haha. Toyota axle is weak... If only you could put longfields in the D44... Oh wait.... RCV :D

    I had a HP toy axle and snapped cv's and blew up trunion bearings all the time.. got to the point to where it just wasn't worth it anymore.

    The Trail-Gear's trunion bearing eliminator kit rocks and has been holding up to my abuse without any problems. Worth it to switch over if the stock trunion bearings are giving you headaches

    ARP studs properly torqued and maintained will also help eliminate broken/loose studs which will increase trunion bearing wear and tear. I only mention the ARB studs because the are the strongest and can be torqued to a 100ft/lbs :cool:

    The Toyota is stronger built or stock than a 44 built or stock. I didn't think anyone debated this anymore.
