I got nerf bars designed for a double cab, and put them on my access cab. Being as such, only 2 of the 3 mounting bars are on each one, and those are held in place by 2 bolts each. I would bet on the bolts breaking if I get hung up on something or push against a tree.

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
Damn, it's been busy in here!

That's looking good for me so far (nothing on the calendar anyway). Just depends on WHERE, and if I have funds for gas or not.

Were you thinking 2/2-2/3, or 2/8-2/9?

GODDAMIT! FINE! Troy, you can come. Just stop begging :D

How many times have we come down there? That's what I thought. :stirthepot:

Yup, that's the one...and as you can see, a Ford Focus can indeed make it (to the camp at least)!:cookiemonster:

...here's a thread from our trip there in 2012:

...and some pics from another recent trip (I didn't make it to this one):

.....and yet another from the Gitout crew:

Do it man! As everyone has stated, it is probably one of the best trails to get familiar with wheeling and learning the capabilities of your rig. We will probably spend about 4-5 hours messing around in Tahuya, and probably stop in Belfair for some dinner & drinks (those who want to). I would offer my place to crash, but Mike and I will be out at our Search & Rescue potluck. not sure how late it goes...

Put you on the maybe list. Looks like it will be a big group, should get interesting

    WHEN: Sunday, 1/26
    WHERE: Tahuya
MEETING AREA: Safeway - Belfair @ 9:00am, on the road by 9:30am
PASS REQUIRED: Discover Pass required* - can be purchased online, or at the Belfair Ranger's Station
RECOMMENDED GEAR: Any recovery gear you have, tow-points, CB (or at least 2-Way radios), lunch, camera.
    ATTENDEES:
    Smar969905 (Zach)
    Benson X (Ben)
    Chickenmunga (Mike)
Beavis0076 (Beavis) + Wifey in the FJ :D
    55chevy05taco (Tallon)
    GSPRunner (Joe)
    Penguins_cc (Will)
    romeo (luis)

    Crazy Indian (Donnie) - maybe

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
Lots of stuff wrong with Seattle. The shehawks. The flounders. The horrible drivers.

    That's heresy!

You should stand on your table and start to karaoke Thin Lizzy's - Emerald while drinking Jameson and Guinness to redeem that place :D

This was some place by Hotel 1000 on 1st street. Tried finding something easy to get to before the drive home. I'm home now and ready to crash!

I don't know if they're horrible.... more like self medicated, passive aggressive, mirror dependent dullards.
