    Still bored...and we have meetings tomorrow. :frusty: it just gets better and better. at least no one's sick this year. last year when we had our annual pow wow 2 people were sick and then we all had to be locked in a conference room with them for days on end

    70 is fine as long as I'm getting OT and camping time. I would never ever work a salary job

    So if a company sends you a replacement item and you were told over the phone to send the defective item back when you got the emailed paperwork from them and the item should up, what do you do when you haven't gotten the email, or the item shows up with no return packaging or shipping slip?

    and that's why you'll never break a six figure salary. Stop being content and get going already. Not like we are young. Not sure how you plan on retiring, but I sure as hell ain't working till I'm 70 as a hourly employee. I was done with that shit a long time ago (except for my one year hiatus :eek:).


    I got close when I was 19 or 20 but I can't remember exactly how many hrs. Pretty sure I broke 100. My job moved warehouses. Uncle Sam bent me over and didn't use lube. Ill burn out doing that now. This job is all brain power and that old job was brute force labor. So much harder to think for a living. I miss the old stress free days..... but not the pay.

    I drank more rock star than I've ever drank in my life. I worked 95 the previous week. It was hell. I drove home, slept, got up, shower, back at it for 14 days.

    It goes fast and I loved the pay check.

    It is amazing what a day of hard thinking does to your brain. You damn near turn into a zombie.

    All this talk about hours worked, LOL. From the end of October 1970 to the middle of January 1971 I basically worked 36 hours on and 4 hours off. Made the year fly by. I was 21 at the time.
