No, sounds fun though. Maybe our next meet can be there. Where about is it? What all do you know about it?

I only want to go if I get my winch fixed. My controller is missing a prong. Radio Shack doesn't have any replacements so I'm not sure where to go now.

Turns out my controller is only 5 pronged. It has a place for a sixth but isn't used, which is why I thought it was missing one. Did some research and apparently the gears get caught sometimes. I literally banged my winch with a hammer (rubber mallet, but still). All better!

Pretty good. I got my engine compartment cleaned up with some degreaser. I don't think it's been this clean since I bought it. Well worth the $50. My new carpet should be here in about a week. I still only have my drivers seat in the cab. Everything else is sitting in my garage, including console, passenger seat, and rear seats. I feel like I'm driving a race car.

That would be weird. I saw the video of your truck swallowed by that mud hole. I also saw a lot of people getting stuck. How many people had 2x4?

Only one person was 2x4. The rest had 4. Some of that mud was nasty

Ok fellas, start shouting out some dates you all are free. I think we need another Eglin run with emphasis on exploration and mapping. I'd like to find some hills, but I'm not counting on it. At least some more mud pits or perhaps a quarry, if there is one. And if anyone else knows of a good quarry, or local mudpit, post it up and maybe we can add it to the day plan.

I'm from out of town (but a Ft. Walton native, that counts for something right?) so I wouldn't expect my schedule to be catered to, BUT...

I'm installing a TJM bumper next weekend (~25JAN) and then I'd like to get some new tires beforehand cause I have some near-slick sand tires right now...otherwise useless. I'd be much less helpless with tires that are worth a damn. Haha

Although I will disclaim that I am not a fan of mud holes and submerging my daily. So I would love to ride along and map that stuff out, but don't rag me too bad for not having a snorkel. :p
