    Meh. I'm still not sure.
I think I like the new Viper more. I guess there's just something about the lines on the Vette that don't appeal to me. I can't put my finger on what exactly it is, though.

I still really like the looks of the mid 90's Viper the best. I do like the newer Vipers also but that brand new one lost that aggressive style that always drew me to it.

Yeah, I had a poster of a Blue '97 coupe on my wall for years when I was younger. I never had a poster of a Corvette newer than the '63 split window, so maybe I'm biased. My favorite 'Vette has always been the '58; the first year of the dual headlights.

My personal favorite is the '61/'62. Dual headlights but the ducktail.

I'd take the LFA but I don't like that one. Looks like they tried to copy Audi's front end and made a mess of it.

For a Japanese sports car, I'd take the Nissan GT-R over just about anything Lexus has to offer (LFA excluded).

Yeah! The GT-R actually corners so hard that it threw Jeremy Clarkson's neck out, when they tested it on Top Gear a couple years ago. Crazy, crazy car.

I saw that episode, it's a mean car! I see one lurking around Cambridge and you wouldn't believe the noise that things makes

    Mike,

Too each their own BUT you could not GIVE me a Nissan or Audi....my wrenching days hated both and that distaste still stands....

I even converted the daughter in law out of her A-4.....by refusing to work on it anymore... ;)...

Plus I am OLD enough to just "Want" an SC series Lexus and occasionally embarrass young'ns at traffic lites

    Damn, you're old :p

I don't blame you though, any vehicle I have bad experiences with, I wouldn't own one either. I'm surprised to hear you say that about Nissan though. A lot of their older vehicles had great reliability.

...I had an '87 Nissan Hardbody in high school that my dad bought brand new in '87 that had 300k on the original Z-motor and drivetrain. It didn't burn or leak a drop of oil between changes, and it started right up even when it was -20 outside.
Everybody I've known who's had Nissans (cars and trucks) have always had the body rot off around the still-functioning mechanicals. That's why I sold mine; it had more fiberglass on it than my canoe.
