So if you live in NYS, the state is coordinating with surrounding states and they might not sell ammo to us, just a heads up. Idk full details but that's the rumor at my local store.

Looking on PSAs website looks like .223/5.56 ammo is finally coming back down to reasonable prices. Just saw some independence 5.56 for 7.69/20 I believe. Now if only prices will stay there...

Nice. I picked one up on Sunday along with their Magpul build kit with stock for $99.99. Basically a full rifle minus stripped lower for $390.

thanks gents for introducing me to PSA. never heard of them before, until recently, but they seem to have some great deals daily.

does anybody have any experience with these?
    http://palmettostatearmory.com/inde...p-sight-set-same-plane-for-railed-uppers.html

i need some BUIS and this is a great deal compared to troy, diamondhead or YHM

they description says for same plane free floated uppers. however, they are aluminum and i have a same plane picatinny gas block with non free floated barrel. the gas block shouldnt get hot enough to damage them right? i know magpul MBUS is a no-go on the GB because they are polymer, but these should be fine right?

yea i saw that bundle, but im pretty sure the wife would be pissed at me if i dropped another $150 lol. + i already have a sightmark ultra shot reflex that is suprisingly good for the money. 3/4" 3 shot group @ 100yds. and holds its zero well

let me know what you think about the BUIS when you get them in. they have peaked my intrest lol

I'm building an AR 10 this summer, I'm stuck on calibers. I am wanting to do a long range build.

I'm either going with .308, 7mm-08, or .260. I already have a 7mm-08 bolt gun and will be reloading for it soon.

    Anyone have any input?

Win mag is too long though there is a company working on an AR for the win mag

On a side note, the AR 10 is my next build and after that I'm gonna build a .300 blackout SBR with suppressor. After tht I'll build a Grendel, a .50 Beowulf or .458 socom, and a .35 gremlin (for the hell of it of course), I'm thinking the .50 beo should be on a register m16 lower

Mine to (after July this year)

I'd go with 308, it works, and ammo is everywhere.

It's true. If you have a trust, eforms are the way to go right now. ATF is trying to make trusts harder to use with one hand (background checks & fingerprints for all members) and signing off on eforms at a record pace with the other. And meanwhile I still don't have approval for the can I paid for in 2012.
