+1 for the short shift kit. Except I got the URD kit because it was less money. It changes your life in the truck haha

I saw them piled high at the dealer just the other day. I have them... very nice addition to the interior. Especially if you live with winter and or dirt roads gravel driveways etc....

Great advice. I would get weather techs as well. They are night and day better than factory mats. Also factory oil filters are the best ones for our truck, so that would be useful. Unless you got some sort of package deal for the stealership that included maintenance, oil changes, etc... I get mine off ebay from Dahl Toyota for the cheap.

But look at what dman wrote, there are so many options available.

This was limited to Toyota dealer parts/service.

    I ended up getting:

    Bedmat
    2 Truck Bed D-Rings
Bed Net (the nylon webbing that covers the whole bed)
    5 "TRD" oil filters

came out to $250 exactly at Camelback Toyota. Shipped free.

    My exact setup.

I wish the door sill protectors covered more, but it's better than nothing. My truck had those sill protectors installed as a port accessory. I also had the all-weather mats, but the Weathertechs are just SO much nicer it's ridiculous.

I got the bed mat as a birthday gift about a year in and I wish I had it from day one. I still need to get around to securing it to the bed.

Actually, come to think of it, the list of what I need to get around to doing is growing longer by the day.

You must not use the bed of your truck often! Even put a cooler back there? It bounces off all 4 sides of the bed in the first mile! Or a can of gas... that's scary to have sliding all around. I have an access cab so I guess I probably use it a lot more than double cab users.

I did the same thing. Works great. I have a short bed double cab, so I also added an extender and generic "Back Rack". Now that little slippery bed is actually usable...

And, if it's still too small, I also adde a trailer! :D

I will be picking up my 2014 on Saturday (1/18) and am wondering how did you get hooked up with a parts voucher from Toyota?

Was it a dealer incentive - or just something I missed?

    Things I need to tow.
Didn't see anyone mention this, but I got the front skid plate. I also recommend the Weathertechs and I'll be getting a bed mat. (Your dealer won't have it, but you might consider a Pop and Lock.)

Regarding the bedmat. Is it secured someway to actual bed itself? My concern would be that someone would walk up and take it out.

You can bolt it down through one of the drain holes or use the bed bolt hardware. There are a couple wright ups on TW
