My dad is buying the 1000 soon, those things are awesome! Have you seen the utvungerground video for the 1000's?

Even though this thread is for tacomas, this is a smart car the shop did for Memphis at Sema a couple years ago

I miss my dirt bikes and quads......when you have kids all these neat little toyz fuckin disappear!!!!

It's time to get my machines back!!!

I thought of a couple Raptors but thought a kickass 4 seat Side-by-Side for the family could be fun.

All of our stuff disappeared when my dad got remarried. I miss riding quads, driving rhinos, and riding in the sandrail. I've never been in the four seaters before.. But I'm sure they're just as fun

Loving my new system. 2 jl audio w7 8's ae, powdered by 2 jl audio slash 600/1's. Jl audio C5's in thr front and C3's in the rear power by a jl slash 300/4, with a Sony xax701hd head unit. So install is almost complete need to put trim panel around box and carpet on rear seats.let me know what you think.

Here's my iPad mini install. I custom made the dash piece to not show the home button or camera so it's not obvious that an iPad is installed. Dash piece is easily removable for quick iPad removal, and the best part is steering wheel controls work, standard radio displays, internet radio, netflix, google maps, safari, youtube, navigation, bluetooth...EVERYTHING works :)

Here is a youtube video I made showing what it can do: http://youtu.be/tAEN3LMxmBs

Here is the TW thread on it with more info as well: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/audio-video/302679-ipad-mini-install-teaser-pics-inside.html

And here are a few pictures of the install!

Well not a Tacoma and not quite aftermarket, but it is different. I dont think anyone else has tried this in a 4Runner/Tacoma yet.

This is a factory Pioneer Nav from a 2014 Scion FRS. I managed to score it really cheap on craigslist. Thankfully it worked with all the other harnesses I bought for my Scion T1819 swap I did last year.

Right now Ive got pretty much everything but the BeSPOKE and Nav. I still need to find a nav extension from a scion for that to work. But this does have Bluetooth, CD, and all the other fun stuff.

This has to be the cleanest setup with an iPad I have seen yet! Great job. I wouldn't be against doing this if I could get that dash kit :D

Anyone that has the Pioneer x5500, when you play CDs does the album artwork come up for you?

Mine isn't showing and I'm not sure how to turn it on.

Slimwood is a tough act to follow but here's what I recently put together. I used a double din Metra kit, a two part moldable plastic, and a cheap clip on case from ebay. I taped the case in place on the front and then began molding the plastic on the back of the Metra kit. Once it was dry i dremeled a small hole for the usb and inserted a grommet. The Tab plays Via bluetooth and I wouldn't even need the usb except for the fact that the whole reason I am using android as opposed to ios is for the external flash ability. now I have all 120 GB's of my music on the go!
