Actually plumbed the cell and lines today. Hoping to build the intake this week/weekend then fire her up.

 

Ok those with the 3.4 and the ability to look under your hood at the stock battery wiring, there is the big wire that comes out of the stock loom for the hot side of the battery. In that same area a white wire also emerges and comes out about the same length as the 0 gauge main wire. Is this wire hot or ground? I'm almost positive it's hot but the loop on the end does not fit the bolt on the battery clamp.

 

99% that's hot

That's what I figured. I'll have it together enough to get it started by this weekend I'm hoping. About effing time aye?!

 

And then the fire if you dont get it off quick enough , especially if there is no fuse or breaker

 

jason, about my 2rz....as it sits i have no room to put back my muffler due to my links being in the way. ill have to take it to a shop and get it bend up and moved around ect, so my question is, how god awful of an idea is it to run it with no muffler for a trip or 2 ? also my rear 02 is about a foot from the end of the pipe. could that sensor "burn up" so to speak ?

 

Jeff can you put one of those little $20 inline cherry bombs from vatozone somewhere under the cab to try to gain a little back pressure? Shits gonna be like rice crispies everytime you get off the gas. Haha

 

i doubt it to be honest. i need to put a bend in and hug the passenger side frame rail to clear the link at full droop. i fired her up last night for the first time, and she idles super quiet. it WILL be deafening in the cab though lol. i have holes in my floor where my upper links came through the cab. what ? what ? i cant fucking hear you !

 

Jeff just run those pipes through the hood. Make a custom header

can i use a flapper on top too ?

 

flapper won't flap with your foot thru the floorboard.

the cat prolly causes more backpressure than the muffler.
