    Took my son when he was 3 to get his flu shot. Thought he was going to die when his temperature shot up to 103. Called the doctor and was bitching at her. Why does he have the flu??? She said that what they do give them the flu lol never again

    103 Jesus Christ! Was it the through the nostril vaccine? Those are live viruses. The shots however are dead virus shells so it can't really get you sick and it's not always the right strain of flu. The northern hemisphere looks to the Southern Hemisphere to see what strain of flu is going around and then they make vaccines that way prediction that that is the particular strain that is going to hit. I gotta day the past few years either they've been extra wrong or the flu virus has mutated into a super virus pretty much figuring out how to surpass the vaccines
