The numbers generated by this calculator are wildly inaccurate, especially for tire revolutions per mile. There is no substitute for researching the manufacturer data (I like tirerack.com as a starting point, but they are not always right) for the specific model of tire that interests you.

So about the tires. I have had them on for 150 miles now. They ride great with a little road noise which was expected going to a true all terrain tire. They look awesome and made truck sit 1.5" higher. I will let you know the fuel economy after my next fill up. The place that installed them had both the 75 and 70 and said he didn't think I would notice a big difference and would swap them free of charge if I found them to decrease my economy. We will see.

    I don't see the 1.5" higher?
That would say they were 3" taller then your old tires....

Glad you like them and they fit, will be getting mine done Fri or Sat if I find the time.

BTW don't forget you speed o is now different and miles will change.
It will be hard to say other then you getting from point A to B on x gals in the past now it takes you more or less.

When my speed o said I was going 74, I was really doing about 70.
When I get the new tires I think it will put me close to 70/70

Yeah, the speedo change is negligible as checked with a gps before and after the switch. Basically, the speedo on the truck isn't precise enough to notice a difference. When the GPS says 60.7 the truck is right at 61. So no problems there. The difference in height I did not measure, but it is significantly higher. So much so that my girlfriend who is not into trucks and who I did not tell I changed tires asked me if I got a lift the next time she saw the truck after I got the new tires. I'm in the process of monitoring miles via gps vs odometer. Seems odometer might be coming out a bit low right now.

Thanks for the update, as soon as I get my tax return ( already made my tax appt for feb2nd!)Im getting some 951's and toyo AT's. I'm not so concerned with fuel mileage as the truck is a weekend driver, but I don't want stupid loud tires.

Tires look great that is the look I'm after. I like bigger tires and smaller wheels, to me it makes the truck look beefier.

Fuel mileage update. Just filled up after 205 miles. Combo city and highway. With the 265/75/16 my mileage only fell to 18.6. And that is in the winter with some cold temps. Should be even better in the summer. Last summer I was getting 20-21. I expect to get 19-20 with the new rubber. Only lost one mpg, I'll take that for the performance and looks!
