    I am considering replacing my TRD Sport alloy wheels with Stealth 6 wheels and have a question about how will the fit in the wheel well.

    TRD Sport alloy wheels;
    17 x 7.5"
    30 mm offset
    5.5" backspace

    Stealth 6 wheels
    17 x 8.5"
    10 mm offset
    4.3" backspace

    Will the Stealth 6 wheels position center in the wheel well the same as the Sport wheels or will they protrude further to the outside?

    The stealth 6 will be pushed out 1.7" further each side than the sport wheels.

    It should be out away from the truck slightly more.

    This is because the wheel is wider and the tire will be closer to the wheel well.

    They will indeed protrude further. I made the same swap.

    Are you pleased? What size tire are you running? Any rubbing issues? I have 265x70x17.

    Considering my un satiable nature, I would say I am very pleased. The specs and finish on the wheels really makes the rig look bold. I am currently running 265 70 BFG TA KO's on them, but will likely bump that up to a 285. The Taco has a 3 inch lift and light racing upper control arms. yes I required trimming of the fender lining. I managed to keep my husky mud flaps on for a while but lost one of them wheeling in deep snow

    Thanks. I have a 2" lift. Just not sure if I want to do much trimming.

    I understand. I did not find the trimming a big deal. With a dremel and a steady hand it is not hard to do a nice clean trim that would be unnoticable to most people.
