This is normally a sign of it about to go out. Should I be concerned? I love the HIDs performance, but man I was hoping they would last longer than a couple months.

E-mail VVME and they should replace.

Is it just a brief once and done flicker right after start up and then that's it? If so, that IS normal for most of these HID kits.

No it will flicker a few times. I do not think it is normal, it is the only one of the 4 bulbs that does it.

Hmm weird. Typically alot of these kits each bulb will flicker once or twice within a minute after startup. But if it's only one of yours and it's doing it multiple times then I'll agree something is probably wrong with it especially since if it hasn't always done so. Good luck getting it resolved with the company.

Not because of loose wiring. Salt deposits are building up and the capsule will burn out soon.

It was just an idea. Wiring connection check is usually one of the first things I do when something electrical is going wrong.

nothing wrong with the wiring. I spoke with VVME and they want me to switch the bulbs to see if it still does it and to figure out if the problem is with the bulb or the ballast.
I do not have the motivation for all this shit though so when it does go out I am just going to throw my stock bulbs back in because you never have problems with those. If I had the money for an expensive kit I would get it, but I really don't care enough to with my budget.

expensive hid kits also have this kind of problems... every brand cant promise no any defective hid of their products...dude

you can juse switch the bulbs to check where the problems lie in....

i believe VVME has good customer service...if changing the bulb or ballast is out of your budget, just get same one again from VVME....

I've never had any of my three hid retros flicker. Each retro had a different ballast. Only the first was an Oem type too. Check out your setup like mentioned above
