Yup. I fucking hate the cold. I hope to move south in the next few years. Been looking at South Carolina.

Seems weld-on is the only way to go.

That's what I'm thinking I don't wanna drill a ton of holes in my frame so I been thinking of getting them welded on but is there any down fall?

    Too many to list
Your not drilling a ton, usually 3-4 per side, if you look there's s ton already in the frame, 3-4 more will not hurt. IMO bolt ons are just as strong as weld ons, and you can unbolt to repaint or convert back to stock and sell easily. With weld ons you need them welded on properly (not too cold and not overly heating the frame), they are more of a pain to remove but it is doable. Its all on preference, you won't be disappointed either way, just choose a brand and go with it and beat the hell out of them.

Gotcha I'm supposed to buy Thayer's when I get the money together but the holiday hit me hard and a few unexpected things also but as far as I know he still has them. He made his bolt on but you have to drill every hole I think we counted 8-10 per side I was thinking about cutting the plate off and getting new metal for plates to weld and gussets for strength.

I bought a '13 FX4 SCREW with the appearance package and 6.5' bed. The first time I used the bed, I was shocked how much bigger it is than the Tacoma I had. Its a big truck to fit around the city and in parking garages, but I love it so far. Miss the agility and look of my Tacoma though. Literally just finished everything I wanted to do to it. Oh well...new toy so I have to sell some of the old ones before I do that.

Hey PM me and I am sure we can work something out. Although I would like to sell them as quickly as possible, I can put them on lay away or something akin to that.

It was just curiosity because I saw your stuff listed here and then saw that listing on CL. unfortunately I have a 01 so nothing works from newer models.
